When creating graphics in image editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop for output to an imagesetter or platesetter, it is extremely important to have a thorough understanding of imaging in a prepress environment. The more complicated the graphic, the greater the possibility of problems at output, and therefore the increased need for expertise and experience in creating the files.
